Zahra Al Lawati is the Group Chief Audit Executive of Asyad, Oman’s global integrated logistics service provider. With over 12 years in risk, governance, advisory and audit services, Zahra is an established professional in her field. Al Lawati is also a member of the exclusive Harvard Business School (HBS) alumni network, a Certified Fraud Examiner (Association of Certified Fraud examiners - ACFE) and Certified in Risk Management Assurance (Global Institute of Internal Auditors – IIA). She also holds a Masters degree in Audit Management & Consultancy from BCU.
As the Group Chief Audit at Asyad, her deep experience in group auditing, risk management and governance gives her the right skill set to lead the Centralized Internal Audit Function, overseeing all of Asyad’s business units.
Proudly, Zahra is the first female chief in the Group, cementing the Group`s vision towards gender diversity and empowering women in logistics.
