HAFEET RAIL PARTNERS WITH ASYAD LOGISTICS TO LAUNCH INTERMODAL TRAIN SERVICES BETWEEN OMAN AND THE UAE

At Global Rail 2025, one of the world’s leading platforms for rail, mobility, and logistics, Hafeet Rail signed a landmark agreement with Asyad Logistics, part of Asyad Group, to establish intermodal train services between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement is designed to deliver a seamless end-to-end container journey along the Oman–UAE railway corridor; from rail haulage to port operations, customs clearance, consolidation, and last-mile delivery. By partnering closely with Asyad Logistics, Hafeet Rail will ensure that every stage of the supply chain is integrated into a single, efficient, and sustainable service.

The collaboration emphasizes Hafeet Rail’s commitment to working with a wide network of port operators and logistics partners across the region, reinforcing the role of the railway as a backbone for Gulf connectivity. This integrated approach will unlock new opportunities for trade, ensure reliable capacity for container flows, and set new benchmarks for efficiency and sustainability in regional logistics.

Juma Al Maskari, Director - Asyad Logistics, said: “At  Asyad Logistics, we are dedicated to delivering seamless and fully integrated solutions for our clients. Through our partnership with Hafeet Rail, we are strengthening our capabilities across the Oman–UAE rail corridor. This agreement ensures a truly end-to-end container journey driving greater efficiency and supporting the ambitions of Oman’s Vision 2040.”

Ahmed Al Musawa Al Hashemi, CEO of Hafeet Rail, said: “This agreement marks a defining step as Hafeet Rail transitions from development to operational readiness. By working with Asyad and regional port operators, we are building an intermodal ecosystem that ensures containers move seamlessly from rail to final delivery. Our mission is to strengthen supply chains, drive cross-border trade, and support the shared vision of Oman and the UAE for sustainable economic growth.”

With this agreement, Hafeet Rail is positioned at the heart of a new logistics ecosystem that will transform the flow of goods between Oman and the UAE, reinforcing the railway’s role as a catalyst for regional integration, sustainable development, and global competitiveness.
