About Oman Ship Management

A wholly owned subsidiary, Oman Ship Management Company SAOC (OSMC) was set up in 2004 to provide technical services in the operation and management of OSC’s expanding national fleet.

The large majority of OSC-owned vessels, including VLCCs, VLOCs, LNG carriers, LPG carriers, product tankers, Chemical tankers and multi-purpose ships, are managed in-house by OSMC. These services are a testament to the company’s commitment to the highest standards of navigational safety, operational efficiency, business efficiency and environmental responsibility. Japanese shipping conglomerate Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL) provides service support to OSMC in matters of technical management of the LNG vessels. Muscat-headquartered OSMC is an ISM accredited and ISO certified company.
