Asyad Group signed two strategic agreements aimed at supporting infrastructure projects in the mining sector and enhancing national talents in the transport and logistics sector. . These agreements were formalized during the ninth edition of the “Rawabet” Forum, organized by the Oman Investment Authority (OIA).

The first agreement, between Hafeet Rail Company and Takatuf Oman, focuses on developing the technical and operational competencies of Omani professionals in the rail transport sector. This coincides with the ongoing development and implementation of the Hafeet Rail Project, the first cross-border railway network connecting the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
This agreement signifies a strategic advancement towards empowering national talent to drive change within the multimodal transport sector. Takatuf Oman will manage the training program in cooperation with a select group of global universities and institutions. The program's comprehensive approach will cover economic analysis, infrastructure management, and railway operational and maintenance procedures, alongside specialized vocational training designed for crucial operational and technical roles, including train driving, control systems management, and field operations, all aligned with recognized international best practices and standards.

The second agreement, between Asyad Logistics -part of Asyad Group- and Mazoon Mining Company, aims to provide comprehensive land and sea logistics services for the Yanqul Copper Project, one of Oman’s strategic mining projects.
As per the agreement, Asyad will offer end-to-end logistics solutions, including the transportation of equipment, components, and construction materials. The services will leverage Asyad’s advanced port facilities and cutting-edge technologies to ensure efficient supply chain management and timely delivery throughout the project's various phases.
These agreements underscore Asyad Group’s commitment to enhancing Oman’s infrastructure readiness, supporting major developmental projects, and empowering national talent in the logistics and transportation sectors, in alignment with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

Asyad Group also secured the Oman Investment Authority's Award for Excellence in the "Outstanding Project" category. This accolade for the Port of Duqm Container Terminal acknowledges its exceptional performance and innovative approach, highlighting its crucial contribution to the national economy via an advanced logistics infrastructure. The project plays a key role in empowering commercial and industrial activities in the Duqm Special Economic Zone, while also delivering local added value that supports Oman's long-term development.
Asyad Group was also recognized with the Oman Investment Authority’s Award for Excellence in the ‘Outstanding Project’ category, for its Asyad Container Terminal at Duqm. The award reflects the terminal’s exceptional performance and innovative approach as well as its pivotal role in strengthening the national economy through an advanced integrated logistics infrastructure. The project contributes to enabling trade and industrial activities in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, in addition to contributing to in-country value creation that supports sustainable development in the Sultanate of Oman.
Asyad Group successfully executed a mission-critical transport operation for OQ Refineries and Petrochemical Industries (OQRPI). The specialized project involved rapid and secure relocation of 25 tons of essential, heavy equipment from Italy to Oman using a dedicated (Boeing F 747) cargo charter. Managed entirely by Asyad's specialized project logistics teams, the equipment was delivered safely and in strict adherence to the established schedule to OQRPI’s Sohar warehouse facility, showcasing Asyad’s ability to coordinate large, complex operations with precision and reliability.
