MWASALAT TRAINING INSTITUTE SNATCHES NEW ACCREDITATION IN QUALITY OF TRANSPORT TRAINING PROGRAMS

Mwasalat, a member of Asyad Group, has announced that Mwasalat Training Institute reached new levels of excellence and recognition by obtaining the prestigious City and Guilds international accreditation, adding it to the IVV and Diamond accreditations. This proficient training institution has quickly become a leading regional training center offering various training courses on public transportation processes and operations.

Mr. Badar Mohammed Al Nadabi, acting CEO of Mwasalat, hailed this major milestone as an “invaluable international recognition of the exceptional quality of Mwasalat Training Institute’s programs offered in various vocational pathways in the public transportation sector. Our institute aims to supply both local and regional markets with the human resources and competencies needed to cover the full scope of public transport operations and comply with health and traffic safety requirements while creating the proper environment that ensures customer and driver safety and protects corporate assets.”

“This achievement was made possible by the outstanding efforts of our young professionals who proved themselves once again, as they worked tirelessly to meet all the relevant conditions and submitted a comprehensive application that allowed the institute to pass international accreditation requirements with flying colors,” added Mr. Al Nadabi.

Mwasalat’s Acting CEO explained that the training institute has been delivering numerous specialized training programs since its establishment in 2019, bringing in experienced trainers of the highest caliber to build the competencies of Mwasalat employees and introduce international best practices in transport and safety. The institute’s training programs not only cover operational capacity building, but extend to contingency planning and technical support. On the operational side, it conducts training programs for new drivers and various courses on preventative driving, customer service, emergency response and evacuation. Meanwhile, Mwasalat hones the skills of technicians and support employees by providing them with training courses on regular maintenance, repairs and tackling challenges to improve customer and operator comfort and safety.

Al Nadabi highlighted Mwasalat’s plans to launch a proactive promotional strategy that involves reaching out to national and regional transport providers and offering them training and upskilling opportunities. Mwasalat Training Institute has the necessary expertise and know-how to provide specialized maintenance and professional development training for transport vehicles and school bus drivers.

Mwasalat Training Institute offers more than 26 training programs that covers various aspects of the public transport business, including driverskills, maintenance and vehicle repair training. The institute has the facilities and competencies that enable it to deliver training inside and outside its premises all within Asyad’s strategy to power Oman’s logistics sector with a sustainable and competitive land transport system.
