The Oman National Transport Company, or Mwasalat, as it is universally known, has been implementing world-class connectivity for Oman's national public transportation sector since our founding in 1972. In addition to our fleet of over 500 owned and leased mini-buses, low-floor buses, and long distance and luxury coaches, we also operate Muscat's public bus network, intercity buses, contract-hire buses for schools and businesses. We are extending our offering with a taxi service that will operate at the airport and at shopping malls as well as offering on-call pick-ups.
Working for the future
At Mwasalat, we believe in sustainability for the benefit not only of our customers, but for the wellbeing of our region. Our mission is to continue to lead in this by encouraging the use of public transportation in order to reduce congestion and carbon impact, and improve the quality of life in Oman.
Mwasalat is a permanent member of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).
